Privacy policy
Fix My Speaker does not collect personal data. There are no accounts, no cookies set by us, no analytics and no tracking scripts. This page explains that in the detail a policy is supposed to have.
What we collect
Nothing. We do not operate a database, we do not set cookies, and we do not embed analytics or advertising scripts.
Specifically, we do not collect or store:
- Names, email addresses or any other contact details, unless you email us directly.
- Account credentials — there are no accounts.
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs.
- Location data.
- Audio. The tool plays sound; it never records. It does not request microphone access, and your browser would prompt you if anything tried.
- Analytics, page views, session recordings or heatmaps.
How the tool works, privacy-wise
The cleaning tones are generated inside your browser using the Web Audio API. No audio file is downloaded and nothing is streamed from a server. When you press start, your browser creates an oscillator locally and plays it through your speaker.
Nothing about which mode you chose, how long you ran it, or what device you used is transmitted anywhere. There is no server component to transmit it to.
Cookies and local storage
This site sets no cookies and writes nothing to local storage or session storage. That is why there is no cookie banner — there is nothing to consent to.
Server logs
The site is served as static files by a hosting provider. Like essentially all web hosting, that provider may keep standard access logs — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent — for security and operational reasons such as detecting abuse.
We do not analyse these logs, build profiles from them, or connect them to anything else. They are generated and retained by the hosting provider under their own policies, not ours.
Third-party content
There is none. No embedded videos, no social widgets, no comment system, no CDN-hosted fonts or scripts, no advertising network. Every asset the page loads comes from this domain, which means no third party learns that you visited.
Outbound links to other websites are ordinary links. Once you follow one, that site's own privacy policy applies.
Children
The site is suitable for general audiences and collects no data from anyone, including children. There is nothing here that could identify a user of any age.
If you email us
If you contact us at [email protected], we receive whatever you put in the email and keep it only as long as we need to reply. We do not add you to a mailing list — there is no mailing list — and we do not share it with anyone.
Your rights
Regulations such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct and delete personal data held about you. Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing to access, correct or delete. If you have emailed us and would like that correspondence deleted, ask and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If this site ever adds analytics, advertising or any other third-party service, this page will be updated before that happens and the date at the top will change. We will not quietly start collecting data under an old policy.
