What this service is
Fix My Speaker is a free browser tool that plays audio tones intended to help dislodge water and loose debris from device speakers. It is provided as-is, at no cost, with no account required.
What it is not
It is not a repair service and it is not a substitute for professional assessment of a damaged device. Sound-based cleaning moves loose material out of a speaker chamber. It cannot repair damaged hardware, reverse corrosion, or address liquid that has reached components other than the speaker.
If your device shows signs of physical damage — crackling, buzzing, complete silence, visible moisture under the screen, or unusual heat — stop and consult a qualified repair technician.
Use it sensibly
Audio tones played at high volume can damage hearing. You agree to:
- Keep speakers away from your ears while tones are playing.
- Never wear earbuds or headphones while running a cleaning tone.
- Use lower volumes on small drivers such as earbuds.
- Consider other people and animals nearby before playing loud tones.
The site is intended for people old enough to follow these precautions without supervision.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the tool will clear your speaker, that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any information here is complete or applicable to your specific device. Results vary considerably with the device, the nature of the blockage and how much time has passed.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from use of this site or the tool, including damage to devices, loss of data, hearing damage, or any indirect, incidental or consequential loss.
You use the tool at your own risk and are responsible for deciding whether it is appropriate for your device and situation.

The guides and explanations here are general information, not device-specific advice. Hardware differs between models and manufacturers, and information that is accurate for one device may not apply to another. Where we describe something as a convention rather than an established fact, we say so.
